Summary
In 1943, Jean Louis St-Cyr of Paris's Sûreté Nationale, and Hermann Kohler, formerly a Munich cop now with the Gestapo, investigate the murder of an eleven-year-old girl who was murdered in the Bois de Boulogne while wearing the clothes of her best friend, the heiress to a vast aviation fortune. Together they must decide whether this is the work of the serial killer known as the Sandman, and must locate the missing heiress
