Summary
"A cultural resources inventory of the I'On tract was conducted at the request of the purchasers, Vincent and Tom Graham of the Graham Company. The tract is located between the east bank of Hobcaw Creek and Mathis Ferry Road in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina, and consists of 97 acres of salt water marsh and 243 acres of uplands, including three borrow pit lakes that total 25.5 acres. The project was conducted to locate and identify all cultural resources within the tract and to assess their eligibility for the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP). The work was conducted under state and Federal guidelines to insure that irreplaceable cultural resources are not destroyed as results of ground disturbing activities associated with the planned development of the tract." - pg. ii
