Summary
Post reports the results of his three-year study of nest survival among several species of Ciconiiformes on Drum Island, South Carolina, from 1984 to 1986. Drum Island is a dredge-spoil island in Charleston Harbor. The species included Great Egret, Tricolored Heron, Black-crowned Night-Heron, Yellow-crowned Night Heron, Cattle Egret, Little Blue Heron, Snowy Egret, and White Ibis
