Summary
"The Plyler Genealogy is a history of the Plyler family. The progenitor of the family is traced back to Casper Blieler. He arrived in the New World in about 1730. The first home for Casper was in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The family then migrated to North and South Carolina before 1800. In 1800, this family was mainly within one hundred miles of one another. The heavy consecration [sic] of the family was in the Lancaster and Chesterfield Counties of South Carolina. Jacob Plyler settled in Chesterfield County, South Carolina. This genealogy will give a lot of attention to his family through his son Henry Plyler. Plyler is spelled in several ways such as Pliler, Plylar and Blieler."--Page [4] of cover
